  VI. The Managers

61. The Managers is the standing organ running the day to day affairs of the Association.

62. The Managers shall implement all the resolutions determined by the General Meetings of Members and the Board, and exercise all such powers as may be conferred by the Bye-Laws and the Rules of the Association. The Managers shall report at a regular time in respect of the management to the Board and the General Meetings of Members.

63. The officers of the Managers consist of The Managing Director, the Directors of the Managers and other officers.

64. All the Certificate of Entry and the contracts of the Association shall be signed by the Managing Director on behalf of the Association.

65. The Managing Director shall be responsible for the Board and shall exercise and perform the following rights and duties:

(1). To keep control of the Managers and organize all kinds of meetings and activities of the Association;

(2). To draw up regulations, institutions and to map out the structures of the Managers;

(3). To move the appointing or dismissing of the Directors of the Managers and the chief accountant and to submit to the Board for establishment of subsidiaries, representative offices of the Association and the chiefs of these organs;

(4). To appoint or dismiss other officers other than those who are appointed or dismissed by the Board;

(5). To exercise all such powers and duties as may be conferred by the Bye-Laws and the Board.
The Managing Director and the Managers shall comply with the Bye-Laws and protect the benefits and interests of the Association.

66. The Managers shall be liable for interpreting the Rules, regulations and other relevant terms of instruments.

67. The Managers shall be entitled on behalf of the Members to handle the claims relating to the Association and to take legal steps, when necessary.

68. The officers in the Managers must have sufficient knowledge of shipping, insurance and legal affairs and have working experience.

69. The Managers consist of Departments of Administration, Personnel, Undertaking, Claim, Legal Defence, information & Technology, Loss Prevention, and Accounting.
